Business Profile

About us I am a Freelance Photographer, turned professional in 2012, and I live in beautiful rural Dorset together with my partner and my dog.

I have a deep love of the land and am very much drawn to our ancient and sacred sites, therefore much of my work is centred around these mystical places.

I draw inspiration from nature and the landscape around me, and through my photography I endeavour to display the beauty and magic of our natural world which, I hope, will in turn inspire others to look more closely at our "secret land".

My work is available as mounted and framed prints and also as greeting cards.

I am also available for commissioned work. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

My love of photography began in my childhood when I was inspired by my uncle, himself a successful landscape photographer and also an artist. He encouraged me to develop my skills further and was always my best critic and mentor, and I spent many happy hours travelling around with him and photographing the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. Having worked in the library service for many years, I still pursued my interest in photography as a hobby, although desperately wanting to make it a full-time career.........although never quite brave enough! However, after an inspirational house move to Dorset, I finally decided to pluck up the courage and go freelance in 2012.
I am greatly inspired by the Dorset landscape, and in particular the amount of ancient and historical sites contained in such a small area. There is such huge diversity in the county and I am never lost in finding inspiration.
